Diesel margins steady after ARA stocks rise

“With EU refineries continuing to come back online, to be joined by Asian refineries, and U.S. crude runs so strong, the diesel market feels decidedly bearish from here,” Sparta analyst James Noel-Beswick said in a note.

Reuters, June 6, 2024 – James Noel-Beswick from Sparta commented on the diesel market, describing it as decidedly bearish due to rising stock levels in ARA, the return of EU and Asian refineries to operation, strong U.S. crude runs, and a seasonal decline in demand across Europe and the U.S.
